- Senator Jennifer Yu was elected as APDC Councilor.
- Two more Chinese speaking chapters. Harbour Jaycees and Yuen Long Jaycees were formed and affiliated with Hong Kong Junior Chamber of Commerce.
- Hong Kong Junior Chamber of Commerce was awarded “Jaycees International Presidential Award of Excellence for
- Outstanding Achievement in Chapter Extension” with an increase of 25% in membership.
- JCI NOM Officers Training School hosted by Harbour Jaycees was held in Hong Kong.
