- With the assistance of the City Hall Curator, 20 local students submitted their paintings to Hong Kong Jaycees for display in the International Children’s Art Exhibition that was organized by Okinawa Jaycees in the multi-national Jaycee Conference.
- A sum of over $28,000 was raised through the Gala Premiere of the film ‘’A Child is Waiting’’.
